Parents of Tyumen schoolchildren, who previously told us about the intestinal infection at Onokhino School, have contacted us again. They say that overnight, the children«s condition has significantly improved.

Recall that, according to parents, mass reports of illnesses began spreading on January 28. Last night, the children showed the first signs of infection.

Today, one of the parents told 72.RU that the past night passed peacefully for them.

‘Today the child feels excellent. In the evening, there were chills without fever, and the night passed calmly. No one else at home got sick,’ reports a Tyumen woman.

Another of our readers from Onokhino also wrote that the children are feeling better.

‘Today the children have an appetite. They feel normal already. They are taking the medications prescribed at the hospital,’ notes the mother of the recently affected schoolchildren.

Recall that the mass infection became known yesterday, January 29. The exact number of victims is not stated, but media wrote about 116 schoolchildren. Now, the government information center reports 28 appeals.

‘A total of 28 appeals were received by the operational department of the Ambulance Station: calls in urgent form were transferred to clinics for 21 children and 5 adults. Ambulance teams provided assistance on site to two children — aged 8 and 13, after which the data was transferred to the clinic,’ writes the information center citing the Department of Health of the Tyumen Region.

Earlier we wrote that the school in Onokhino was switched to distance learning. How long the children will be on remote learning is still unknown.
