The patient drank these beverages continuously for fourteen days, experiencing stress from taking exams, which led to the intensive destruction of the hard tissues of his teeth.

The doctor explained that oral health depends on a combination of factors: genetic characteristics, diet, hygiene level, and the specifics of the dentofacial system.

«Excessive consumption of energy drinks, which contain high acidity, led to the too rapid destruction of hard dental tissues,» stated Polina Ovcharenko.

The required treatment involved removing the nerves of the front upper teeth, restoring the damaged areas with filling materials, and performing a professional cleaning to remove brown plaque.

Experts recommend drinking energy drinks through a straw and rinsing your mouth with water afterward to reduce harm from sugary drinks. The best solution is a complete refusal of such products.

«Try to minimize the use of energy drinks, or better yet, give them up entirely. And at least once every six months, visit dentists even just for caries prevention and hygiene,» the dentist concluded.
