Two tuberculosis dispensaries in Omsk are planned to be merged. At the end of last week, an employee of one of the institutions wrote about this in the «Bespredel Omsk» community on VKontakte. The author of the post said that people are forced to resign due to inadequate management.

“Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary No. 4 (CPTD No. 4) is being merged with the Regional Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary. People are being deprived of their jobs, we are forced to resign due to inadequate management, there is no alternative. They are forcing us to join the union, threatening not to accept us in the new place. Help, they are just pushing us out, we wanted to continue working.”

According to the employee, relationships with management are not working out: the chief physician and his deputies speak rudely to staff and threaten dismissals.

“We ask to publicize our problem. If they don’t help us stop this madness, we will be forced to write about our situation higher up.”

A representative of the regional Ministry of Health stated that the process of merging Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary No. 4 is in the development stage.

“Employees of CPTD No. 4 continue to work in their positions, and there is no talk of dismissal. In case of the medical institution’s merger with the regional dispensary, all employees will retain their jobs if they wish,” was written under the post.

As one of the workers told NGS55.RU, the situation is indeed unfolding unpleasantly. There was a change in management at the hospital, which complicated the work, but talks about the merger have been going on for a long time, and it did not come as a surprise.

“For several years, they have been saying that we will soon be merged. Like other small hospitals in the city, we have been caught in this wave, albeit a bit later.”

Now, some workers have been transferred to another medical institution, and they have to travel to the dispensary located on Chelyuskintsev Street. There is a possibility that only a few departments will operate in the building on Khimikov Street.

Also, NGS55.RU was told that the reorganization and merger process allegedly accelerated due to an incident that occurred in July. Then, a patient fell out of the dispensary window and died. A female employee of the institution filmed what happened on video.

Later, it was published on the Telegram channel «Incident Omsk». The woman«s comments outraged residents, and representatives of the Ministry of Health promised to take measures and apologized for the publication.

“Jumping jack… Oh, I can«t. Why the hell did he check in for treatment, he should have cleaned up at home. No, there will be problems. Now they»ll start investigations..... A normal weekend morning,” the woman said off-camera.

NGS55.RU sent a request to the Omsk Region Ministry of Health to find out about further plans for the reorganization of Tuberculosis Dispensary No. 4.

In early October, NGS55.RU wrote that the building of the former maternity hospital No. 2 on Magistralnaya Street was converted into day therapeutic and gynecological hospitals.
