President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree awarding doctors. Specialists from Tomsk are on the list, according to the press service of the regional health department.
For their merits in the field of healthcare, two Tomsk specialists have received the title «Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation». These are the acting head physician of the Tomsk Regional Narcological Dispensary, Lyudmila Trefilova, and the head of the urology department of City Hospital No. 3, Alexander Antipkin.
Lyudmila Trefilova is a doctor of the highest qualification category, a candidate of medical sciences. She has been working at the narcological dispensary for 28 years and is currently acting as head physician. Since 2003, she has been the chief freelance pediatric narcologist of the Tomsk Regional Health Department, and since 2024 — the chief freelance narcologist of the regional health department.
Alexander Antipkin is a doctor of the highest qualification category. He has been working at City Hospital No. 3 for 36 years. For 24 of those years, he has been heading the urology department. Under his leadership, retroperitoneoscopic surgeries were first performed in the Tomsk region using mini-access.
