An outbreak of intestinal infection among children has been registered in the village of Onokhino, Tyumen Region. The number of affected individuals is being clarified, as reported by the regional government.
«Employees of the Tyumen Region Department of Health, together with the Rospotrebnadzor Office (Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing), are overseeing the provision of necessary medical care to the population and conducting anti-epidemic measures,» the authorities stated on social media.
Residents are advised to seek medical attention immediately if symptoms of the disease appear. In the near future, a hotline will be organized for consultations.
