New details have emerged about the health of Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein. The former State Duma deputy, who represented the Samara region, announced them himself. The official posted a video from his hospital room on his Telegram channel.

The situation is not simple. In addition to a fractured femur, three ribs and two transverse processes of a vertebra are broken. It«s not fatal, but quite unpleasant. Rehabilitation will take some time. Together with the doctors, I will do everything to get back on my feet as soon as possible and return to full-fledged work. Alexander Khinshtein was involved in a car accident on January 22, 2026. He had planned a working trip to the Konyshevsky district, but his car skidded due to weather conditions. A few hours later, the official made contact from the hospital room and spoke about his health condition.
