Yekaterinburg resident Anna has been trying for half a year to figure out how a diagnosis that would stop any parent«s heart appeared in her daughter»s electronic medical record. The ultrasound results stated that signs of cancer had been detected. In reality, the little girl was healthy, and the examination revealed no alarming signs. Now the parents are trying to find out who entered false data into the document.

That evening without information, Anna and her husband experienced severe stress and barely waited until morning to go to the clinic.

In August 2025, Adelia turned one month old, and Anna took her daughter to the clinic for a scheduled medical check-up. This is a mandatory examination by doctors of various specialties with ultrasound of the brain, hip joints, heart, abdominal organs, and kidneys. During the check-up, the doctor said everything was fine, the girl was developing according to her age.
However, a few days later, a conclusion appeared on the Gosuslugi portal, where it was stated in black and white: «Sonographic signs of oncological diseases have been detected.» The document was signed with the electronic signature of the head of the department.
Sonography is the name for ultrasound examination, or ultrasound.
«To say we were in shock is an understatement. It was evening, and the clinic no longer answered. This document, mind you, was signed with the electronic signature of the department head. My husband and I managed to control our emotions. Our parents calmed us down by saying that with such a diagnosis, we wouldn»t have been released from the hospital. But still, it was the most severe stress,« recalls Anna.
The next morning, Anna and her husband went to the clinic to understand if everything was really okay with their daughter and to sort out the situation. There, they were directed to the head of the department, who, according to them, «met them with wide eyes» and stated that she had not signed any such documents.
As it turned out, in the hospital«s local system, the child»s data is displayed correctly — Adelia is healthy. But why a false diagnosis appeared on Gosuslugi, no one could explain. The employee responsible for information resources suggested that the system «mixed in» data from another child.
«Supposedly, part of the data was ours, and part was from another child, although the medics themselves note that the name Adelia is rare, and it»s unclear how this happened. At the clinic, they said it was not their error, but the system«s, which generated this document. But what system this actually is — I still didn»t understand. They promised to resolve this issue, we calmed down that the child was okay, and went home,« says Anna.
Five months have passed since then, and the document on Gosuslugi is still there. Anna decided to get to the bottom of the story so that the error in the system is fixed, and other families don«t experience similar paralyzing fear.
Anna sent a complaint to the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region and left an appeal on the Gosuslugi portal. From there, her request was redirected back to the 15th hospital. On January 23, she was called from the clinic and informed that they «submitted a request to eliminate the shortcomings.» But there are no specifics.
The hospital administration refused to comment on the situation to E1.RU. Regarding the appeal, they promised to conduct an internal check.
«If the mother has questions, she can contact the clinic administration. We do not provide information about the check results to third parties,» the hospital responded.
When Anna receives responses from the Sverdlovsk Ministry of Health and Gosuslugi, we will update the material.
Meanwhile, many Voronezh residents have also found fake entries on Gosuslugi about undergoing any examinations. With such false records, it«s always worth sorting things out with your insurance company, which issued you the compulsory health insurance policy.
