Children hospitalized in Arkhangelsk with intestinal infection discharged

The young hockey players of the «Mayak» club from Sverdlovsk Region, who were hospitalized in Arkhangelsk with an intestinal infection, have been discharged.

This was reported on Tuesday to Interfax by the club«s director Andrei Gerasimov.

«As of today, all (...) have been discharged from the hospital, are healthy and are taking part in the competitions,» Gerasimov stated on January 27.

As Interfax reports, Gerasimov clarified that on January 30, eight players of «Mayak» will go home. Another eight will remain to take part in the Federal Districts Championship in bandy among boys born in 2010.

The operation of the restaurant «Olivye», where the young hockey players ate, was suspended after an inspection by Rospotrebnadzor (the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing).

The situation was reported to the state sanitary and epidemiological service of Russia. The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on the poisoning of minors.
