An outbreak of intestinal infection occurred at a local school in the village of Onokhino, Tyumen. 115 people are being treated on an outpatient basis, and one has been hospitalized — these details were reported by the Telegram channel Baza.

At the Onokhino school, 72.RU was told that an inspection is currently underway and samples are being collected. They will be ready to provide more details on the situation later.

The health department told the editorial office that they do not yet have information on the number of hospitalized individuals or children who sought medical attention.

The press service of the Tyumen district administration redirected journalists to the health department and Rospotrebnadzor (the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing).

At the Onokhino medical outpatient clinic, a journalist from 72.RU was told that they «do not have information» on the condition of the victims.

The prosecutor«s office has launched an investigation.

Regional authorities reported the outbreak of intestinal infection on Thursday, January 29. The government stated that «control over the provision of necessary medical care to the population is being maintained and anti-epidemic measures are being carried out». It was also recommended to consult doctors if symptoms of the illness appear.
