Students in Chita Honored for Good Deeds at Medical Academy

At the rector«s reception at Chita State Medical Academy (ChGMA), students were recognized who combine their studies with active social and spiritual life. For this, three separate nominations were established — for contributions to volunteering, spiritual and moral education, and the preservation of family values.

The rector«s reception is an annual celebration at the medical academy, where the achievements of students, postgraduate students, and residents are honored for achieving significant results in studies, science, public and professional activities.

In the nomination «The Road to the Temple,» students were recognized who actively participate in the life of the Church of St. Luke of Simferopol, which is located on the academy«s grounds. The students help clean the church grounds and contribute to preserving spiritual traditions. For ChGMA students, this is conscious work based on respect for history, culture, and values.

The award «Open Hearts» was received by representatives of the academy«s volunteer movement. Today, ChGMA has over 15 student volunteer teams. Some of them help students acquire practical and theoretical skills, others work with residents of the city and region. Volunteers assist veterans of the Great Patriotic War, promote a healthy lifestyle, conduct preventive campaigns, and teach first aid skills. Volunteering at the academy has become an important part of the educational environment and professional development of future doctors.

Special attention at the rector«s reception was given to the new nomination »Young Family.« It awards students who, while studying at the medical academy, manage to start a family and build a joint future.

Among the winners are ChGMA sixth-year students Maxim and Daria Edinarkhov. The couple not only studies but also works in the cardioendocrinology department of the Regional Children«s Clinical Hospital — as a nurse and a nurse, respectively.

«The academy for us is not just about obtaining higher education, but a significant stage in life. ChGMA has become a place where personality, social circle, and worldview are shaped. Here we were able to deeply study our specialty, be socially active, and meet each other,» note Maxim and Daria.

The rector«s reception shows that at ChGMA, not only academic successes are valued, but also personal responsibility, active stance, and the ability to combine profession, service to people, and human values.
