Homes in Oktyabrsky District lose power after cable damage
A cable was severed during uncoordinated excavation for a water pipeline in Oktyabrsky District.
On January 30, a power outage occurred in Oktyabrsky District due to cable damage. According to the press service of «Rosseti Novosibirsk,» homes on Stofato, Dobrolyubova, and Boris Bogatkov streets were left without electricity.
«In Oktyabrsky District, a cable was damaged during the laying of a water pipe in the protected zone of power lines. The work was not coordinated with the energy company,» the company clarified.
Specialists are working at the accident site. Most of the homes have been connected using a generator, the energy company said. Full power restoration is planned by 2 PM.
The day before, in Zheleznodorozhny District of Novosibirsk, 80 homes were left without power.
