Bus 27 Missing in Perm, Crowd Breaks Doors

Residents of Perm who use bus route No. 27 this morning, January 30, had to change their habit — the transport simply did not arrive. Articulated buses operate on this route, so many passengers gathered at the stop. We learned about the causes of the problem from eyewitnesses and the carrier.

On the evening of January 29, Perm was hit by heavy snowfall. According to Yandex.Maps, the city was in 10-point traffic jams, movement was difficult, city roads on the maps turned burgundy, and many accident markers appeared. This morning, the snowfall continued. The Yandex.Maps app showed that traffic jams reached 9 points by 8 a.m., and several accidents occurred.

A reader of 59.RU said that she was waiting for bus route No. 27 at the Odoevsky stop, standing there from 7:22. According to the schedule, the transport should have arrived in 3 minutes, but no articulated bus came, even though such spacious vehicles run on this route. Because of this, a crowd gathered at the stop. All of them were taken by the arriving route No. 823 at 7:30.

The girl got on bus No. 823 and, arriving at the Samolyotnaya stop around 8 o«clock, saw a broken articulated bus No. 27.

Another reader also confirmed that one of the 27s broke down — at Samolyotnaya, the driver disembarked everyone, partially blocking the stop with the broken vehicle.

At the stop, the girl says, there were many people, and it was impossible to leave. Those waiting went out onto the road, but, according to the Perm resident, many buses simply drove past the Perm residents, dropping passengers off far beyond the stop, and quickly drove away so that the crowd wouldn«t have time to run and burst into the cabin.

Permgorelectrotrans commented on this transport collapse, but could not clarify regarding the specific route.
