«I had my own history with scammers. My parents lost their apartment when I was 17, and we were left on the street; this was in St. Petersburg,» Volochkova said in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.

Her parents, wanting to help their daughter, who was combining studies at the Academy of Russian Ballet with work at the Mariinsky Theatre, decided to exchange a two-room apartment on the outskirts for a one-room apartment in the center. An acquaintance of her father, after receiving the money, claimed that she was attacked by bandits, as a result of which the family was left without funds and housing.

The star doubts that there was a robbery. Moreover, the attackers were never found. She believes it was a scam. 

After losing the money, the Volochkova family was forced to move into a communal apartment. According to the ballerina, the current scammer calls seem like «nonsense» to her compared to what she has already been through.

Timur Rodrigez Loses Child Support Lawsuit 

The Presnensky District Court of Moscow rejected Timur Rodrigez«s request to reduce the amount of child support. It turned out that the court, among other things, considered the potential return of the children from Spain to Russia a significant deterioration in their accustomed standard of living.

Even before the official divorce, Rodrigez and his now ex-wife Anna Devochkina signed a child support agreement. Under it, the artist committed to paying 750,000 rubles per month (about $8,300 at current rates) for the support of two children. In addition, he transferred ownership of the shared house, worth over 130 million rubles (about $1.44 million at current rates), to his ex-wife, agreeing that part of the funds from its subsequent sale would be returned to him.

However, after that, the situation changed. The house was sold, but the agreement on paying Timur the sum due to him was never fulfilled. At the same time, his income significantly decreased. In connection with this, Rodrigez went to court demanding to reduce child support to 500,000 rubles per month. 

As Starhit was told in court, Devochkina stated during the proceedings that half a million is not enough for her sons to live in Spain, as the rent for a four-room apartment in Madrid alone, according to the documents provided, costs at least 6.5 thousand euros per month.
