Volgograd Teenager Wows Judges in You're Super Show
Vadim Khramov performed the song «Na chasakh nol-nol» during the semifinal of the talent show «You»re Super«.
A teenager with a challenging background from Volgograd, Vadim Khramov, shone on stage in the musical show «You»re Super«. For the semifinal, the teenager chose the popular song »Na chasakh nol-nol« (»Zero Zero on the Clock«) by the group Dabro and did not disappoint. The jury was delighted; Alsou and Diana Arbenina admitted what a »handsome guy« he is. However, the schoolboy did not advance to the final. What was missing for the other jury members?
Recall that at the age of four, Vadim and his younger brother ended up in a foster family. He knows nothing about his biological parents, only their names. The teenager admits that he has no desire to meet them. Now he has a wonderful family and a loving mother. However, the schoolboy says that he still recalls moments from childhood.
«I had three friends on the project. They all left. I was alone in the room. I had stress, I felt lonely, I was afraid of something... I constantly remember the moment when I wake up at night, the TV is on, I go out, there»s no one. No mom, no one at all... I go out into the hallway, and there«s some man coming up. I got scared, ran to the sofa to sleep,» the teenager recalls.
In the semifinal, Vadim sang the song «Na chasakh nol-nol» («Zero Zero on the Clock»). This time, all jury members pressed the green button, even Stas Yarushin, who last time was the only one who did not give the teenager the green light.
«I was worried for him the entire performance. It made me tense up. I was sitting there: »Come on, give me some heat, you could have given more.« I felt like I was standing there instead of you and I wanted to help you. Something was lacking for me, both in vocals and in energy. But I like you, I wanted to support you,» said Stas Yarushin.
The other jury members advised the young man to work on his vocals and not give up music. They noted that the «street» style suits him very well.
«You have such a cool guy vibe, and it»s not arrogant, but very kind. You have a great smile, you have an amazing smile! And you really want to help. But you have to help yourself, without us now. If you want to sing, you need to work on your vocals. And the fact that everyone likes you is absolutely true,« said Diana Arbenina.
«Handsome! What a well-chosen song— it really suited you, fit your range. It»s really such a street theme, it really appeals to young people, and not only. If you continue your path in music, this is definitely the direction for you,« said Alsou.
