Valeriya Stuns with Deep Cleavage on New Season of 'The Mask'
It«s time to awaken your inner Sherlock Holmes and Miss Marple, as February approaches and with it, the new season of the show »The Mask« (12+). The premiere is scheduled for February 8. The creators are keeping secret which artists will participate and are not revealing the costumes. However, they couldn»t resist sharing what characters the participants will portray.
As always, 14 characters will take the stage. According to the show«s rules, the judges must guess which artist is performing in front of them, despite altered voices and unusual costumes that completely cover the face and figure. The jury members are allowed to ask questions and make guesses, but the participants are also permitted to hide their identities by any means. Some fully flesh out their character, weaving in only tiny bits of their own biography, while others change their manner of speaking each episode.
However, showing their cunning is not everything. The judges must also like the musical performance, as the participants with the weakest act will be nominated for elimination.
Competing for the main prize in the seventh season will be the Ram, the Beaver, the Bogatyr (a Slavic folk hero), the Hippopotamus, the Giraffe, the Beetle, the Hummingbird, the Coral, the Fox, the Frog, the Moon, the Dandelion, the Bullfinch, and the Meerkat. To confuse the judges even more, the creators have prepared all costumes so that they do not match the participant«s real physical parameters. This means the judges lose another clue—estimating the artist by height or build.
The permanent jury members Regina Todorenko and Timur Rodriguez will guess who is hiding under the mask. Alongside them, Valeriya will once again test her wits and intuition.
No less effort went into the singer«s outfits for the new season than into the participants» costumes. Valeriya will appear in a red latex dress reminiscent of the Red Queen«s outfit from »Alice in Wonderland«, and in a metal corset and armlets resembling knight»s armor. It«s immediately clear—she is armed to the teeth for the seventh season and ready to take the bull by the horns.
«It»s very interesting that we can«t guess the people we know well because, when wearing the mask, artists sing and behave completely differently. For each of the jury members, the unmasking is a colossal surprise and celebration. Sometimes you don»t even want to guess!« Valeriya shared.
Heading this friendly company will be chairman Philip Kirkorov. By tradition, he will most often appear in classic suits of unusual colors. But judging by the first photos from the shoot, the singer also couldn«t resist experimenting. In one of the episodes, he will appear in a baseball cap, a meme T-shirt, and a fishnet top. Perhaps this is how the king of pop wants to support a rapper participant.
«My intuition usually doesn»t let me down. But «The Mask» is a very convoluted project. The producers and artists have already learned how to confuse us so well, become so adept, that guessing gets harder and harder with each season. But I«m not afraid to seem funny, absurd, I»m not afraid to make mistakes,« Kirkorov said, positively tuned for the new season.
