Every summer, Adler is one of the most popular resorts in southern Russia, but each year more tourists leave disappointed. 93.RU collected reviews and found that what vacationers are writing no longer sounds like minor complaints but like genuine cries of the heart.

“Sewage is flowing into the sea everywhere”

A resident of Rostov, Mikhail, did not hold back his emotions about the «business» set up by the sea: «All the beaches in Adler are packed with sunbeds and umbrellas, the prices are insane, and what if people don»t want to lie on expensive sunbeds?! There«s no space on the beach anymore… profiteers have taken over everything!»

The man believes that «the land is common and there»s no reason to take it over.« According to him, there are no free toilets or drinking water on the coast, »sewage is flowing into the sea everywhere, and people are getting diarrhea.«

«Complete mafia-like lawlessness in the resort town. There»s nothing to do there! Let them lie on their own sunbeds and swim in the sewage!« writes the Rostov resident.

Moreover, according to him, it«s getting worse every year: high prices, dirt, cutting down trees for new hotels, destruction of old parks and sanatoriums.

«They»ve killed all the wildlife, don«t come, don»t anger the people!« summarized the tourist.

“Welcome to the dump”

Another traveler, Anton, who came from the North, was also shocked: «Anyone who wants to »relax« in Adler, Sochi, welcome to the dump, full of taxi drivers and incompetent builders.»

He says that the transport system is «not developed at all»: buses are overcrowded, and taxi drivers are «brazen taxi drivers» with astronomical prices.

«I was in Saint Petersburg this year. And if you compare it with Sochi, then Petersburg is simply a paradise city,» writes Anton.

What particularly stood out to the tourist were the toilets: supposedly, in Petersburg they are «on every corner and almost all free,» while in Adler, according to him, «you»ll be hard-pressed to find a toilet anywhere, and even that one will be paid.«

«And if you do find one, my advice to you: don»t go in there, because you«ll vomit.»

Anton notes the dirt and trash even on the streets themselves: «I understand that it»s from tourists, but that doesn«t diminish the fact that it needs to be cleaned daily.»

The traveler adds that everywhere «some sketchy guys are hanging around all day in hard hats.»

«In short, it»s complete crap. Next year, if my wife and I save up some money, we«ll go to the Azov Sea,» concluded Anton.

“Aggressive pushing of everything”

A married couple from Moscow was also disappointed with their vacation. Lilia admits: «Before this, we vacationed in the Lazarevsky district, and Adler and Lazarevsky are like night and day. As soon as we arrived here, we didn»t like it.«

She notes aggressive bus and taxi drivers, calling them angry. The city itself, according to her, is dirty, and there are almost no trash cans.

«If you walk towards the resort town, you can confidently carry your trash all the way to the beach,» the Muscovite says. Separately, Lilia is outraged by the quality of goods: «They»re just trying to sell something. Very aggressive pushing of everything, both on the beach and in the city.«

She told how she bought churchkhela (a traditional candy) that was expired, and in another store she saw «Dubai baklava with mold.» According to her, the canteens are «mostly terrible,» and after one dinner she «came down with food poisoning.»

«In short, we definitely won»t be going to Adler for vacation again!« summarized Lilia.

Overall, instead of a cozy resort, tourists describe Adler as a place ruled by «profiteers,» «sewage,» and «aggressive sales.» Judging by such reviews, the city has a lot of work ahead if it truly wants to regain its reputation as the pearl of the Black Sea coast.

Earlier, a resident of Novokuznetsk decided to spend the velvet season in Adler. She honestly shared about her vacation and harshly criticized the resort: she didn«t like the high prices, hellish heat, and completely tasteless food. Even many locals agreed with her.
