Ticket Prices to Rise at Voronezh Reserve from February 1
The Voronezh State Reserve will increase prices for tickets and hotel stays starting February 1. This was announced on the reserve«s VKontakte group.
Main innovations:
A single ticket for all excursion sites (museums and the Beaver Town) now costs 650 rubles (about $7 at current rates) for adults and 420 rubles (about $5) for children.
Visiting the Beaver Town separately will cost 350 rubles (about $4) for adults and 230 rubles (about $3) for children.
The cost of tickets to the Nature Museum for self-guided tours is 150 rubles (about $2) for adults and 100 rubles (about $1) for children. With a guide — 200 rubles (about $2) and 150 rubles (about $2) respectively.
For pensioners and disabled persons of group III, discounted tickets are available, ranging from 60 to 175 rubles (about $1 to $2) depending on the site.
The service of an individual guide is priced at 1000 rubles (about $11) per hour (advance booking required).
Important: To visit any sites, a ticket to the reserve territory is also required, which currently costs 200 rubles (about $2) for adults. For children, pensioners, large families, and other privileged categories, it is issued free of charge. In the near future, an increase in this fee is expected — to a level of at least 1% of the subsistence minimum in Russia.
Free entry is maintained for children under 6 years old, large families, disabled persons of groups I and II, veterans, and other privileged categories (upon receiving a free ticket at the ticket office).
New prices for hotel accommodation (per day):
Standard double room: 1,200 rubles (about $13) per bed or 2,200 rubles (about $24) for the entire room.
Semi-suite room with kitchen: 2,200 rubles (about $24).
Family rooms: from 3,200 rubles (about $36) (up to 4 people) to 4,200 rubles (about $47) (up to 6 people).
Suites: from 4,200 to 4,700 rubles (about $47 to $52).
Accommodation at the Center for Children«s Environmental Education: 700 rubles (about $8) per adult and 500 rubles (about $6) per child per day.
Additional sleeping place: 600 rubles (about $7).
