Tatarstan actress clashes with co-stars on reality show

Actress Albina Kabalina from Tatarstan argued with several participants of the reality show «Stars in the Jungle: Caribbean Season» and loudly left the project.

A bit about the show itself — its essence is that participants live in a camp with a minimal set of utensils and food and survive. The stars have to fight for food — complete challenges for coins. The prize fund is 30 million rubles (about $300,000 at current rates), but this amount decreases with each day spent in the jungle. Each week, one participant is eliminated by a general vote, and a newcomer takes their place.

In the sixth episode of the reality show, a conflict flared up between Kabalina and actress Yekaterina Shkuro. The fact is that from the very beginning of the sixth week, some female participants formed a coalition against Albina. The goal was to expel the actress from Tatarstan from the project. Throughout the week, several girls called for Kabalina to be sent home.

Already at the voting ceremony, Albina understood that she was under fire. Shkuro’s words, who called Kabalina and another reality show participant «lawbreakers,» added fuel to the fire.

«What vile lies, Katya! You’re proving that blondes are really stupid! That’s not a basis at all. What are you saying now? Aren’t you ashamed to lie? You’re finished. I’ll hit you with a pickaxe if you say anything again,» threatened the actress from Chelny.

In response, Shkuro promised that Albina would regret her words. In the end, Yekaterina kept her promise. At the voting ceremony, 9 out of 11 people voted against Kabalina. And so, the actress from Tatarstan had to undergo the elimination challenge. In it, Albina’s team managed to win the first round of «sea battle,» but at the decisive moment, Kabalina’s boat sank.

«Of course, it was a surprise for me that we lost. I wanted to win. And not just win, but win the entire show. I could have been such an inspiration for many. Well, why didn’t it work out?» Albina burst into tears.

On parting, Albina also said «a few choice words» to Shkuro and Irina Pinchuk.

«I was offended that my dignity was hurt at the ceremony yesterday. I am ready to answer for every word. You, Ira and Katya, called me a difficult person, a person with complexes, insecure. But look at yourselves — you both are the most artificial here — both externally and internally,» Kabalina concluded.

Kabalina is known for playing Zoya in the new season of the series «The Bukins» (16+) — a classmate of Roma, who married her. Albina is originally from Naberezhnye Chelny. She studied at the Oleg Tabakov College and then entered the Anatoly Vasilyev Laboratory. She acted in theater, and in her third year, she starred in the melodrama «While the Stanitsa Sleeps.» Also, Kabalina has appeared in many popular series, including «Tourist Police,» «Real Boys,» «Vacation,» and «Univer. 10 Years Later.»

Earlier, Albina admitted that she decided to participate in the show to win money and fulfill her grandmother’s dream — to take her to Paris. Also, the actress needed this money to pay off her mortgage.
