The play «Hooligan.Confession» is dedicated to the poet Sergey Yesenin. However, not only Sergey Bezrukov will take the stage, but also ballet dancers, as well as backing vocalists and the Inter Folk Band ensemble. «Yesenin can not only be read—Yesenin can be danced, Yesenin can and should be sung,» the organizers say about the format. The play has already been seen in Smolensk, Perm and other cities, now it«s Chelyabinsk»s turn.

«Why »Hooligan«? Because that»s what Yesenin was—a hooligan,« says Sergey Bezrukov about the project. »A hooligan«s love, a hooligan»s confession… In Russia, people who walk on the edge are very much loved. These are very ambiguous, tender, sensual, and sometimes cruel heroes, but the main thing about them is their honesty with themselves… I sing and read the lines in the way they were created by Sergey Alexandrovich himself, honestly, without hypocrisy. Yesenin without cuts.«

At the moment, almost all the best seats in the stalls have been sold out: tickets for the central seats cost 13,000 rubles (approx. $150) each. There are also options for 11,000-12,000 rubles (approx. $130-$140). In the amphitheater, two seats remain—for 6,900 (approx. $80) and 9,500 rubles (approx. $110). The balconies are more affordable—from 3,500 to 5,200 rubles (approx. $40-$60).

Let us recall that Sergey Bezrukov came to Chelyabinsk in September—for the opening of a monument to the outstanding lawyer, a native of Troitsk, Fyodor Plevako.

In February of last year, the artist brought the play «Casanova—Ars Vivendi» (16+) with explicit scenes. At that time, ticket prices reached 12,000 rubles (approx. $140), and the two days were sold out (see the photo report).
