Rapper Macan enlists in army
Macan, Andrey Kosolapov, recently sold out a stadium and now reports for compulsory service.
Rapper Macan (real name — Andrey Kosolapov) announced that he is going to serve in the army. He posted a photo outside Yedinyy prizyvnoy punkt Moskvy (Moscow Unified Draft Office). Earlier he had sold out a concert at VTB Arena, and critics accused him of allegedly ignoring draft notices.
Macan said the matter does not yet involve being sent to a military unit.
«Don’t believe tabloid media. No one was hiding. No one was detained. Today I was at the voenkomat (military enlistment office) and received a summons,» Kosolapov wrote in his social media “stories”.
On 9 August the rapper drew a crowd at a stadium in Moscow; in December he had a concert scheduled in Ufa (Bashkortostan, Russia). All phones that may belong to Macan are currently switched off. On social media, Andrey Kosolapov was accused of allegedly ignoring six draft notices to the military enlistment office, which people said led to him being brought in by force.
Recently Macan criticized women who post revealing photos on social media and lead a promiscuous sexual life — he received a harsh reply even from a star of «Voroniny» (TV sitcom). He has also been linked romantically to vlogger Valya Karnaval. And the rapper’s friend, blogger Mikhail Litvin, earlier admitted he had bought a military ID — Mizulina drew attention to that.
