Olga Buzova launches apple-seed balloons in Kazan

Filming took place at Kazan State Agrarian University during the education reality show’s new season.
TV host and singer Olga Buzova released balloons into the sky over Kazan — but not ordinary ones. It was all part of filming for the new season of the «Olga Vuzova» (12+) project, taking place today at Kazanskiy gosudarstvennyy agrarnyy universitet (Kazan State Agrarian University, KGAU).
The «Olga Vuzova» project is an educational reality show in which host Olga Buzova travels to universities across Russia and talks about modern education. This is already the third season: in previous years Olga inspected technical and humanities universities around the country. This time — it’s the turn of agrarian institutions. The new season is produced by Shkulev Holding with support from Institut razvitiya interneta (Institute for Internet Development, IRI) and Ministerstvo sel’skogo khozyaystva Rossiyskoy Federatsii (Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, MinSelkhoz).
In the dormitory courtyard, students prepared a surprise for Buzova. They have a tradition — to launch biodegradable balloons with apple seeds into the sky. Sooner or later these seeds will reach the soil and grow into trees. For this activity, they suggested using the apple she was given at the very start of the trip.
«Is this the same apple I tried to eat, but the girls wouldn’t let me finish?» the singer asked with a laugh.
Biodegradable balloons carried apple seeds across the sky as part of a student tradition.
«Plants are cool! They are the foundation of life. And here, at Kazan State Agrarian University, I was convinced that growing plants is interesting, modern, and high-tech work! And most importantly — useful! I hope my episodes, like these seeds, fall into fertile soil and yield a rich harvest», Olga Buzova wished.
Earlier we reported how the star was greeted at KGAU in the morning: she was given a bouquet of flowers and offered to try a karavai (ceremonial round bread) and chak-chak (Tatar honey pastry). The latter, incidentally, the singer later tried making herself.
