It seems that no Miss Russia contest has been discussed as long as in 2025. As soon as Anastasia Venza put on the winner«s crown, accusations poured in from all sides — about plastic surgery, unfair competition, her stingy reaction to the win, and other mortal sins. For the first few days, she remained silent and ignored all reproaches, but now she has grown tired of evading and has responded to all ill-wishers.

The first to criticize her was Miss Russia 2022 Anna Linnikova. She claimed that the current winner«s beauty is the work of, if not plastic surgeons, then at least cosmetologists.

— Shame. I can«t imagine how the winner will represent Russia at the international level, — Anna expressed surprise at the jury»s decision.

Anastasia parried: such attacks from people she hadn«t even heard of don»t affect her — it«s just an attempt to hype on her name.

And in response to claims that she had beauty injections, the winner showed her childhood photos.

— Probably, my childhood photos are direct proof that I don«t need plastic surgery. I feel confident, harmony reigns inside me — no intervention can replace that, — the model said.

Besides her appearance, the internet also criticized the model«s behavior. For example, Alice Oganezova from Krasnodar noted that Anastasia was not with the other girls during the long rehearsals.

Anastasia responded that she did indeed arrive late for preparations due to her university studies, but pointed out that arriving on the same day as everyone else was not a mandatory condition, and she was not the only one who was late: a participant from Ufa arrived on the same day as her.

— On the first day, about 40 girls checked in, over the week the rest arrived. Some couldn«t due to health problems, some due to work. I was preparing for exams that were in September. Studying in medical school in the 4th year is structured in cycles, exams are every month, — Anastasia explains.
