Egor Kreed faced mockery from American rappers
American rapper Jason Derulo poked fun at singer Egor Kreed. He did it not even in the States, but on stage in St. Petersburg during his own performance.

The court decided P. Diddy’s fate

The star was sentenced to four years and two months in prison on charges of transporting women for prostitution. Prosecutors had initially sought more than 11 years in prison for Combs, while the rapper’s defense argued for 14 months of incarceration.
Also, P. Diddy is required to pay a fine of $500,000, writes the New York Post.

At the end of 2024, a scandal erupted around P. Diddy over allegations of sexual violence, human trafficking, and other serious crimes.

Maxim Galkin* may lose rights to his own name
Showman and humorist Maxim Galkin (designated in the Russian Federation as an individual foreign agent in 2022) may lose the rights to his own name. This became known from a notice by the Federalnaya sluzhba po intellektualnoy sobstvennosti — Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent). The agency registered an application to terminate legal protection of the «Maxim Galkin»* trademark.
«Maxim Galkin*, designated in Russia as a foreign agent, may lose the rights to his name», the report says.
In addition, the comedian risks a situation in which someone else technically registers this trademark to themselves and thus forbids the former holder to use it in Russia. It is reported that the stated reason for filing the application is the liquidation of the individual entrepreneur (IP) to which the mark was assigned.
The initiator of this process was Anatoly Aronov, president of Pervaya Patentnaya Kompaniya (First Patent Company). According to him, there is simply no longer any need for this trademark, RT writes.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban split
