Ilya Muromets Eliminated from ‘Avatar’ as 90s Star Kai Metov Revealed

In the show ‘Avatar’ (12+), the jury has now managed to reveal a third character. But the fewer participants remain, the harder it becomes to identify them. In the sixth episode, Lazarev, Kudryavtseva, Koka, Batrutdinov, and Tishman tried to guess all three characters nominated for elimination. However, they only guessed one correctly — Ilya Muromets.
For the first time this season, Finist Yasny Sokol (Bright Falcon) was nominated. In previous episodes, the judges suspected that behind him could be Egor Kreed, Vanya Dmitrienko, Vlad Sokolovsky, or Stas Piekha. After the participant sang the song ‘Apologize’ by OneRepublic, a new theory emerged.
‘It arose from a visual similarity and was confirmed vocally. Our Finist Yasny Sokol looks so much like Dima Bikbaev,’ said Klava Koka.

Due to a crooked smirk during the conversation and his song delivery, Lazarev came up with another theory.
‘We mentioned this name for another avatar, but now it seems to fit, and I realized who could talk like that — it’s so similar to Timur Rodrigez!’ shouted Lazarev.
Finist listened to all these guesses with a smile, thinking he was safe, since Kudryavtseva and Koka had fallen for him. But they had fewer votes in his defense, and by the decision of Lazarev, Tishman, and Batrutdinov, Finist was put at risk. The judges checked the theory that has been floating around from episode to episode and suggested the avatar was controlled by Stas Piekha, but they were wrong.
Kikimora — another avatar who got lucky. In the sixth episode, she avoided elimination. Each episode, the participant gives gifts to the jury, and this one was no exception. She presented scarves with her name on them. Such spending led Lazarev to think the performer was wealthy.

‘We’re talking about an artist who earns well. Some rich lady. This is all in Olga Buzova’s style,’ Lazarev suggested.
The jury also recalled Irina Dubtsova, Elena Vorobei, Tatyana Kartunkova, and Marina Kravets. But most votes were for another artist.
‘Anita Tsoi always prepares very thoroughly for everything. And gifts are in her style,’ Lazarev voiced the theory.
The majority supported the theory about singer Anita Tsoi and checked it in the final vote — another miss.
For dessert, the jury left Ilya Muromets. To better understand the bogatyr (epic hero) in the new episode, Tishman tried to find out if he sang in a group or solo.
‘The first half of my life I sang on the stove, and then whatever happens,’ Muromets tried to evade the answer.
The bogatyr’s words were interpreted in his own way by Timur Batrutdinov, who stated that the hero was controlled by Kai Metov.
‘The first half — Position No. 1, and the second — Position No. 2. I’m becoming more convinced of this theory,’ shared Batrutdinov and saw Muromets give a thumbs up.
After the participant sang ‘There’s No More Drama’ by Polina Gagarina, Kudryavtseva and Tishman also heard Kai Metov.
‘I was so happy that my colleagues proposed such a great theory. How wonderfully the song sounded in a male performance. There are such great guitar counterpoints, bass lines, beats, he sang so well, transitioning to falsetto. I really liked this version,’ Tishman poured out his emotions and added that Kai Metov is his mom’s favorite performer.
‘Mark, you handsome guy!’ Muromets shouted to him from the stage.
After such enthusiastic support for the theory from Muromets himself, the jury checked it. The avatar was indeed controlled by Kai Metov.

‘You phenomenally hid the one-of-a-kind timbre that the whole country knows. And I think now is the moment when the viewer is happy to see you,’ Tishman gave the artist compliments.
