Golden Gramophone anniversary features star outfits and personal stories

The anniversary Golden Gramophone award was presented in Moscow at VTB Arena. Dozens of stars performed on stage, but equally vivid stories unfolded backstage and on the red carpet.

The hosts of the event were Valdis Pelsh and Regina Todorenko. One of the most discussed moments of the evening was the matching outfits of Philip Kirkorov and Nikolai Baskov. They appeared in identical suits with gold embroidery. When the «two from the casket» came out on the red carpet, Nastasya Samburskaya said she was leaving: «They took all the attention! I»m leaving!«

The fashion of the evening was full of surprises. Not only Kirkorov and Baskov wore matching suits—Leonid Agutin and Vladimir Presnyakov also chose identical three-piece suits for themselves.

And to cap off the «twin evening,» Lolita Milyavskaya walked the red carpet in the exact same dress as singer Yolka.

Lolita also shared memories of her first statuette. She said that the gramophones received in the duo «Academy» with Alexander Tsekalo were broken during her divorce.

«We were very proud of them, we earned them with blood. In short, I broke them all. Then I cried and said, »I will get my own again.« And when I finally received my first gramophone, for me it was proof that I had made it a second time in life,» the singer shared.

Valeriya appeared in a delicate pink dress with puffy sleeves, earning comparisons to a sweet marshmallow, while Anna Pletneva turned into a shining disco ball.

Another long-awaited event was the performance of the band «Gorod 312» (City 312). Lead singer Svetlana Nazarenko (singer Aya) took the stage with the group for the first time after suffering a stroke. The musicians said that they had continued working all this time to pay for the singer«s rehabilitation in the best clinics.

«She is off-camera, but continues to work with us. For 2 years and 7 months now, she has been undergoing rehabilitation… Today, everything in the group is focused on her recovery,» they explained.

And singer Jasmin had an addition to the family—in the morning before the «Golden Gramophone,» her first grandson was born. The newly minted grandmother was already congratulated by journalists.

«At 12 [midnight] I said, »Guys, I should already be sleeping, I have the «Golden Gramophone» tomorrow, I still need to somehow endure all this and stand on stage,« but I already understood that she [daughter-in-law] was going into labor. And at 4:34 in the morning, my first grandson was born, today, October 30! A Scorpio, yes, the miracle I wanted didn»t happen, you remember, I told you that I really wanted my grandson to be a Libra? But it doesn«t matter, because Scorpio is also very good for boys, it»s generally wonderful,« Jasmin shared. Before the concert, the artist spent all her time in the maternity hospital, next to her son and daughter-in-law.
