Determined 17-Year-Old Seizes Apartment and Gives Birth

17-year-old Sophia from Bolshoy Kamen and her 24-year-old partner Alexander were featured in a new episode of the show «Mom at 16» (16+) on the Yu TV channel. At the start of the episode, she stated that she doesn«t want to study or work, but plans to find a husband and become a housewife. However, by the middle of the series, she changed her mind, which sparked jokes in the comments.

Sophia was born and raised in Bolshoy Kamen and was studying at a college in Vladivostok at age 17, but disliked attending. She met Alexander through mutual friends, and after a brief relationship, she became pregnant. At the time, Alexander worked as a loader in a grocery store and enjoyed socializing with friends, including drinking. After a party where Sophia was present, Alexander gave her the keys to his apartment and told her to come over. She interpreted this as an invitation and showed up at his door the next morning with her belongings, without informing her parents.

Alexander did not immediately believe she was pregnant or in her intentions, but over time and under pressure, he had to accept it. Sophia also provided a doctor«s note confirming the pregnancy. They went through a period of adjustment, with Sophia arguing with her parents and Alexander»s mother, referring to the apartment as hers, and even changing the locks. In the first part of the show, Alexander expressed shock and regret over giving her the keys, but his feelings changed after a street altercation.

A crowd attacked Alexander, and his pregnant girlfriend rushed to his defense, fighting off the assailants. Shortly before giving birth, the couple married. There was no elaborate ceremony—just a seaside registration, in keeping with Primorye traditions.

After the episode aired, Sophia posted on her Telegram channel that they are doing well—living harmoniously, loving each other, and raising their son. The jealousy depicted in the show, stemming from Alexander«s dubious chats with other women, has subsided, and their positive feelings have grown stronger.

In the comments, viewers expressed surprise at her persistence and determination.
