Comedy 'Comment on This' Hits Theaters

The premiere of the psychological comedy «Comment on This» by director Yulia Trofimova is scheduled for 29 January. The plot follows spouses Katya and Ivan, who are on the brink of divorce and, as a last resort, decide to undergo a course of experimental therapy. They are assigned a Commentator — a person who will follow them for a whole month and voice their true thoughts and feelings aloud, creating many awkward situations.

The role of Ivan is played by Alexander Petrov, known for the film «A Hundred Years Ahead». His wife Katya is played by Yulia Khlynina from «Ice 2». The mysterious Commentator is portrayed by Tikhon Zhiznevsky, star of «Major Grom: Plague Doctor». The actor admitted that to prepare for the role, he studied the behavior of famous psychologists.

Director Yulia Trofimova, who previously directed the acclaimed dramedy «Sasha»s Country«, said that the idea for the film came from personal observations: »Many of my friends on the brink of divorce said they were very sorry they didn«t talk in time. This »didn«t talk» got stuck in my head. So, the idea came in handy. We tried very hard to make the film touching, emotional, kind, and relatable.«

The film is rated 16+.
