Borodina Trapped in Stavropol as Flights to Moscow Are Repeatedly Delayed

Ksenia Borodina and her Stavropol-born husband Nikolai Serdyukov seem to have been trapped by their own hospitality. After round-the-world travels the couple made a rare visit to the husband«s hometown — Stavropol. There they were greeted with a warm welcome, homemade baklava, and a meeting with family: a welcoming mother-in-law and two of Nikolai»s brothers, as it turns out he is one of triplets. Everything was going smoothly: cooking, laughter, and coziness in the Serdyukovs« home. It seemed like the perfect end to their journey.

But for Borodina and Serdyukov, no visit goes without adventure. This time, instead of a phone stolen in Italy or predictions by Sobchak about divorce — a new adversary: Russian airlines. Ksenia announced that urgent matters are calling her to Moscow, but Stavropol seems in no hurry to let her go.

First, the flight scheduled for 13:55 was delayed until 16:00. Then it was rerouted to the airport in Mineralnye Vody. It seemed like a chance to fly out of a neighboring city. But it was not to be. The plane from Mineralnye Vody also did not take off, while other flights to Moscow, according to the star, departed on schedule. «I want to go home already,» the stranded TV host wrote in her stories with her characteristic directness.

While in Dubai they were choosing tickets for «The Nutcracker» from the gallery, in the Stavropol region Borodina is choosing which airport lounge to get a better look at.
