Bashkir Housewife Reveals She Still Feels Chubby After Weight Loss

Blogger Milyausha Shaykhislamova, known as the Bashkir Housewife, admitted that even after weight loss, she feels like a chubby girl. She shared how she underwent plastic surgeries and feared that she would no longer appeal to her audience. Previously, some of her followers had indeed criticized the blogger for changing her image.

According to Milyausha, she lost 53 kilograms (approximately 117 pounds) thanks to gastric sleeve surgery. However, another problem arose, for which she needed the help of a plastic surgeon again.

«I lost the excess weight and felt lighter and healthier, started fluttering like a butterfly! But the trouble is — my skin didn»t keep up with me, it decided to stay in the past,« the Housewife said in her blog.

Then she decided on a facelift. Milyausha said that she was only a little nervous before the operation, but after she woke up with a «new face.»

«The first days after the operation were not easy. I looked at myself in the mirror and thought: »Is this really me?« Recovery was slow, and it was hard for me not to overexert myself, especially when I want to show my emotions, and I am a very emotional person,» the blogger explained.

Emotions could not be shown so as not to disturb the healing muscles and skin of the face after the operation. According to Milyausha, only after a week could she fully appreciate the result. Nevertheless, even then, as she noted, there were still worries.

«I thought: »What about my subscribers? They loved me as I was, a chubby girl.« Many of you remember me as chubby. And I was afraid that the changes might make me less interesting. But then I realized: »Changes are not only about appearance, but also about inner state.« Well, and in any form, I remain your Bashkir housewife. By the way, for some reason, I still feel chubby,» Milyausha said.
