Arkhangelsk Native Wins 'Let's Get Married' Show

Moscow resident and native of Pomorye Natalia Guryeva participated in the TV show “Let«s Get Married” (16+) on Channel One and became the winner: it was her among three brides that the groom Konstantin chose. During the show, it turned out that Arkhangelsk Oblast is not unfamiliar to him either — he talked about his parents from Velsk. About how the filming went, what didn’t make it into the final episode, and what the couple’s current relationship is — 29.RU was told by Natalia herself.

“I Decided This Was Another Challenge for Me”

The story with “Let«s Get Married” began for Natalia in October 2024. The producers of this TV show reached out to her themselves through social media and offered her to participate in this project. Natalia agreed. According to her, she had long dreamed of this, and more as a bride who would compete for the groom.

— Such an option was somehow closer to me, — she says. — I wanted to show myself, talk about myself, feel if this man is a kindred soul. I’ll say right away: on this project, they very carefully match pairs. The main task of the show is to connect people. We asked — indeed, there are couples who after meeting on the show got married, they have children.

In September, a coordinator from Channel One contacted the girl again and shared that they had finally found a worthy groom and would like to take several interviews with Natalia ahead of the filming. The northern woman agreed and told in detail about everything: from her musical preferences and work in a construction company, to participation in beauty contests and details of her personal life — including three marriages and her two sons.

After several communications, Natalia was congratulated on being approved for the filming and a date was set. But at that time, she still did not know what man would act as the groom. The only thing she managed to find out — that he is handsome, tall, and “just perfectly suits all the contestants”.

— It’s very scary to step out of my comfort zone, — admits Natalia. — But still, I am a person who loves to experiment and participate in beauty contests. And I decided that for me this is such another contest, a challenge. I came to see from the inside how the filming process goes, to meet Roza and Larisa — I was very interested in that. And if fate brings me together with a wonderful person — that will be a big bonus for me. After all, I came to a thematic show about love and intuitively believed that I could meet there a person who would be given to me by fate.

Pomor Gifts and an Unexpected Coincidence

On the appointed day, Natalia came to the filming studio with her friends and little dog Milana (the pet became a noticeable touch in this episode of “Let«s Get Married”). In the common dressing room, she met the two other participants of the show — according to her, she liked them very much.

— All the girls have their interesting stories, very beautiful, passionate, talented, amazing! Just incredible girls who earn their own living and know their worth. Because all the girls are wonderful, very beautiful. I even at some point thought that Konstantin would choose the third bride, because she, like him, is passionate about sailing sports, regattas. That is, she understands many things that interest him.

But it turned out differently. The northern woman went on stage second, and admits that before meeting the groom, she was very nervous. At the same time, she didn’t have a prepared text, so she improvised.

— When I came out and saw Konstantin, I said: “I am very happy that our views on life coincide. Let’s achieve all our goals together”. And when we looked into each other’s eyes, it seemed to me, chemistry happened… Some spark passed between us, — believes Natalia.

It turned out that Konstantin’s parents are from Arkhangelsk Oblast, from Velsk. Of course, Natalia knew nothing about this, but it so happened that she had prepared real Pomor gifts for the hosts and the groom: kozuli (traditional gingerbread cookies), dried mushrooms that she personally gathered, homemade pine cone jam. And also — not Pomor, but still delicious Napoleon cake. And to be appreciated not only for the gifts but also visually, Natalia sang the song “Beloved Man” in the studio.

— When Konstantin heard that I am a Pomor girl from the north, he asked: “Where are you from?”. I say: “From Arkhangelsk Oblast, from the city of Kotlas” — just like that, for no reason. He goes: “Wow! My parents are from there”. I go: “Well, imagine that, what a coincidence”. After the show, we shared our impressions, and Konstantin said that he was simply in shock: like, the girl lives in Moscow, but also from his native region. This is his place of power, he goes there every summer to rest, to recharge with energy. An amazing story.

“Larisa Says: ‘What’s This, No Intrigue!’”

Not all moments from the filming made it into the final television episode. For example, Natalia recalls that when Konstantin met all three brides, the hosts asked him: “Why did you come to the show?”.

— He said: “I came to find my love. Intuition brought me here”. And intuition brought me too, I really wanted to participate. I thought, if I meet my love, it will be just a unique case, — adds Natalia.

Moreover, the groom during the filming told the hosts that he was more inclined to choose Natalia. And they, according to her, were on her side themselves.

— Larisa says: “What’s this, no intrigue. You could have intrigued”. And he answers: “What intrigue? I’ve already chosen”. And when I found out that I was chosen, of course I was very glad and happy. I even got a little confused. They tell me: “Natalia, Konstantin will come to you”. I just go: “Oh my God, how cool is that!”. I actually enter all contests with a note of slight indifference. I don’t hope for anything — I just come and give myself fully to the process. And if from this process there will be some pleasant bonuses in the form of victories, or that I will be chosen by a person who I really liked, then that will be just wonderful.

And so this episode of “Let«s Get Married” ended — Natalia and Konstantin came out on stage together, smiling and as if slightly embarrassed.

— Later in his Telegram channel, Konstantin posted bits of video, moments from the show. He posted such a moment when we come out together and signed: “When you choose with your heart, miracles happen”. It’s true. He chose with his heart, — says the chosen bride.

After the filming, Natalia polled her friends and close ones — what do they think about the episode with her participation? Everyone unanimously answered that it was wonderful.

— Everyone says in one voice that the show was as if made for us to get together, — So warm impressions from watching, it evokes a feeling of joy in people. They say it was one of the most beautiful episodes. They answered: “You just seemed made for each other”.

“We Were Meant to Meet”

By the way, after the filming, the program’s characters found out that they have a mutual acquaintance. Moreover, this acquaintance had already shown Konstantin photos and videos of Natalia — they could well have met outside of “Let«s Get Married”.

— It turned out that he was shown me on September 13, but he didn’t recognize me, naturally. He has a designer acquaintance, they met the day before on their own matters, and she showed him my photos. Says: “There is a girl, she is amazing. We met in Dubai at a fashion show. Now she is my muse”. He goes: “Oh, wonderful girl. How great”. And already in the process, after the show, he realized that he had seen me in those photos, although I am in character there, not like myself. He was in shock. Says: “How so? That means, we were meant to meet”. And we started looking for what other intersections there were. In general, some incredible magical moments happen in our lives when we came into each other’s field of vision.

Natalia tells that now she and Konstantin are friends and continue to communicate — and the rest will show with time.

— We exchanged phones, we have many moments that we want to discuss. And if this grows into serious relationships, into a family — that will be just wonderful, — she shared.

Other Brides and Grooms from Pomorye
