School closures announced for second shift in Khanty-Mansi districts

In several districts of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, school closures for the second shift have been declared on January 30 due to freezing temperatures, enabling students to study from home.

In the Beloyarsky, Berezovsky, and Oktyabrsky districts of Yugra, a school closure for second-shift students was announced on the afternoon of January 30. Thus, due to low air temperature, classes are canceled for students:

grades 1 to 4 — Vanzevat, Polnovat, Vanzetur, Pripolyarny, Shaitanka, Tegi, Berezovo.

grades 1 to 8 — Beloyarsky, Lykhma, Verkhnekazymsky, Kazym, Khulimsunt, Nyaksimvol, Igrim, Svetly, Nizhniye Narykary, Sherkaly, Chemashi, Peregrebnoye.

grades 1 to 11 — Sosnovka, Sorum, Shchekur«ya, Kimkyasuy, Sarampaul, Lombovozh, Sosva.

At the time of the announcement, air temperatures in cities and settlements were at -32…-36 degrees Celsius (-26…-33°F), wind 1 m/s. This is reported by the website «Gosuslugi. My Yugra». Children can stay home and study remotely.

In other cities and settlements of Yugra, temperature conditions do not exceed the threshold for announcing school closures for the first school shift.

Earlier we reported that high school students in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug complained to Mizulina about the lack of school closures during severe frost, and that they freeze in class.
