Anyone over 18 years old can participate in the competition. It will help participants assess and improve their digital literacy, mastering skills in artificial intelligence, algorithmic thinking, and programming.

This year, Sber has created a virtual space specifically for the Digital Marathon. Participants can complete quests and educational tasks (including from competition ambassadors — last year«s winners), learn how GigaChat (18+) can aid in work and study, and also complete tasks from School 21 and Netology. At any time, they can enter the virtual space, communicate with each other, complete quests, and earn points towards the overall competition score.

To participate, one can choose from three categories — «novice», «explorer», or «expert» — to compete with peers. Each category has three prize places.

The winner taking 1st place in the «expert» category will receive 1 million rubles (approximately $11,100 at current rates), in the «explorer» category — 500,000 rubles (approximately $5,600). Prize winners in the «novice» level will get valuable prizes from Sber. All prize winners in each category will also receive certificates for training at Netology.
