'God, forgive!': Cockroach hordes invade university classrooms
Unsanitary conditions have plagued the educational institution for over a decade
Students of Kemerovo State University (KemSU) have complained about a cockroach infestation in the college building on Terekhova Street. On Monday, January 26, students published a video showing the insects feeling at ease during a class, unafraid of people, light, and loud sounds.
«God, forgive!» the female students exhale in horror. According to the video«s authors, the insects are exterminated every two weeks, but the treatment has no effect.
With each passing day, the number of pests only increases.
«It»s bad enough for students living in dormitories, where everything is swarming with them, but what about those who live in apartments? Bring this home?« writes the video»s author.
Meanwhile, the situation in the dormitory on Voroshilov Street is even worse. Cockroaches have long inhabited shelves with food, make their way into dishes, refrigerators, and cabinets. Moreover, the situation has not changed for years.
The students themselves say that exterminating on their own is useless— after a couple of days, the unwanted guests return from neighbors, and centralized pest control is ineffective.
