Chita school heating repair estimated for one day

The utility company provided an update on the timeline for restoring heat to the affected school.
TGC-14 (Territorial Generating Company No. 14) confirmed that the problems at School No. 49 named after Hero of the Russian Federation Yegor Sekerzhitsky in Chita, which switched to remote learning on January 28, arose due to CHP-2 (Combined Heat and Power Plant No. 2). TGC-14 informed Chita.Ru that the temperature increase is expected to take about a day.
The school administration was waiting for TGC-14 to resolve the issue with the parameters of the heat carrier supplied to the educational institution, which are currently below standard.
«Yes, the problem is with the reduced temperature of the network water supplied by CHP-2 to the network. At the moment, the temperature is being raised,» the company said.
They added that the process usually takes no more than a day.
On January 28, a mother of one of the students at School No. 27 in the Severny microdistrict, 50 in Chita, complained about the cold in the school. However, the education committee reported that the temperature in the premises is 18–22 degrees Celsius (64–72°F), which meets the requirements.
