From March 1, 2026, the deadlines for paying utility bills in Krasnodar Krai will change. Payments for electricity, water, heating, and other services can be made until the 15th of the month, not the 10th, as is currently the case. This was reported by the press service of the Krasnodar Krai Prosecutor«s Office.

The deadline for receiving bills will also change. If previously bills had to arrive no later than the 1st of the month, now management companies and resource-supplying organizations will be able to send them until the 5th of the month following the billing period.

The new rules are introduced by federal law and will apply across the entire country, including in Kuban.

Additionally, the law specifies the procedure for paying contributions for major repairs, if the money is collected in a special account of the regional operator. Such an account can no longer be changed by a decision of the general meeting of residents.

Also, the requirements for placing information in the GIS Housing and Communal Services (GIS ZhKKh) system are expanding. In particular, it must include information about enforcement proceedings for utility debt. Compliance with these rules will be monitored by the state housing supervision from March 2026.

All changes will come into effect on March 1, 2026.

Recall that this year, residents of Krasnodar, like all Russians, will face a double indexation of tariffs. According to a government resolution, from January 1, utility bills in Krasnodar Krai increased by 1.7% due to a VAT hike, and from October 1, we can expect an additional average increase of 9.6% in bills, but in our region, a possible additional deviation of 4.8%, meaning up to 14.4%. In some cities where concessions are implemented, an even greater increase is not excluded. Read more about this on the website.
