Tula Oblast to raise pregnancy allowance for conscripts' wives

The one-time allowance for pregnant wives of conscripts and for women whose husbands are first-year students at military academies or officer training departments in Tula Oblast will increase from 1 February. This was announced by the press service of the regional branch of Russia«s Social Fund (SFR).
Currently, the one-time payment is 42,700 rubles (approx. $550 at current rates). From 1 February 2026, it will rise to 45,054 rubles (approx. $580).
Only women who are more than 180 days (six months) pregnant are eligible for the payment.
To receive the payment, applicants must collect the following documents:
- a passport or other identity document;
- a document confirming the husband«s conscripted military service or his status as a first-year student at a military academy or officer training department.
Applicants may also be asked to provide proof of marriage, pregnancy term, and residential registration.
Applications can be submitted at Multifunctional Public Service Centers (MFC) in Tula Oblast or through an SFR branch.
