A woman who moved to Krasnodar from Irkutsk shared on social media how much a month of living in the city costs her.

According to Kamina, she has been living in Krasnodar for four years and rents a one-room apartment with her daughter. Rent costs her 17,000 rubles ($189 at current rates) a month. Another approximately 4,000 rubles ($44) goes to utilities and 950 rubles ($11) for internet.

The family spends approximately 20,000 rubles ($222) a month on groceries. Dining out at cafes and restaurants costs another about 15,000 rubles ($167). Kamina mostly gets around by bus and taxi: a public transport ticket costs 55 rubles ($1), and one taxi ride is about 400 rubles ($4). In total, transportation expenses amount to roughly 10,000 rubles ($111).

Personal care expenses — manicure, eyelashes, massage, and hair removal — amount to about 8,000 rubles ($89) a month. For pets — a cat and a parrot — the woman spends approximately 2,000 rubles ($22).

In total, according to her calculations, a month of life in Krasnodar for her family costs approximately 77,000 rubles ($856). However, in the post, Kamina did not specify whether expenses for the child — clothing, clubs, medicine, and other mandatory costs — are included in this amount.
