Natalya did not specify where she bought the vegetables, but acknowledged that they are indeed fresh and aromatic, although not all of them.

«What are vegetable prices like in your city? To be honest, I was just at a vegetable store, and I was a bit stunned. For this little bag, it seems small, I paid 2,100 Russian rubles (about $23 at current rates),» says Natalya Kray in the video.

She said she bought green onions, dill, and parsley for a smoothie for 300 rubles (about $3) and two avocados for 350 rubles (about $4). But the biggest shock for the Irkutsk resident was the prices of tomatoes and cucumbers.

«And now, friends, attention! The main attraction. Five of these tomatoes. No, of course, they»re beautiful. They smell very delicious because they«re from Tashkent. Well, they came to almost a thousand rubles (about $11), around 900-something rubles (about $10). And a kilogram costs 640 rubles (about $7). And the attraction of my unprecedented shock is the »Masha« cucumbers, which don»t even smell much, but cost 650 rubles (about $7) too. In short, healthy eating isn«t cheap these days,» recounted Natalya Kray.
