Economist Natalya Zubarevich to Lecture at Perm University

Perm State University will host the Tenth Perm Economic Congress, dedicated to business, demography, and the so-called «green economy»—a model of economic development that reduces environmental risks. The university will host a lecture by expert in economic geography, Moscow State University professor Natalya Zubarevich.
Natalya Zubarevich is a renowned expert in economic geography, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, professor at Moscow State University. Her interviews garner millions of views. Natalya Zubarevich is an expert for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Moscow office of the International Labour Organization (ILO). She is the author of the so-called «theory of four Russias.» According to the professor, the country«s uneven socio-economic development is linked to the division of cities into relatively developed and backward provinces.
The congress will take place on February 12 in the conference hall of Perm State University. Registration begins at 9:00, and presentations start at 10:00. One of the first speakers will be Maxim Kolesnikov—First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. He will discuss the development of a standard for business social capital.
The report by Moscow State University professor Natalya Zubarevich is scheduled for 11:00. For half an hour, she will speak on the topic «Russian Regions: Results of 2025.»
Among the speakers will also be Andrey Kuzyaev, President of JSC ER-Telecom Holding; Tatyana Chuksina, Minister of Economic Development and Investment of Perm Krai; and Oleg Krivokhizhin, Head of the Laboratory for Responsible Business at the Higher School of Economics (HSE).

At 14:00, participants will split into sections. Those discussing «Green Economy» will remain in the conference hall, while those who want to listen to presentations on «Economy and Demography» will move to the university«s academic council hall.
The next day, February 13, the congress will host Student Day. From 10:30 to 13:15, children will be awarded prizes for winning the digital art competition, and meetings with high school students on career guidance will be held.
