Anapa Suspends Tourist Tax for Another Six Months
The tax was first suspended in May of the previous year.
In Anapa, the tourist tax has been canceled for another six months. This decision was made by city deputies on January 29.
The tourist tax suspension is effective from January 1 to June 30 inclusive. The measure was unanimously supported by all deputies. The city administration clarified that the decision was made to support sanatorium-resort and hotel organizations that suffered from the consequences of a fuel oil spill in December 2024.
Recall that in May 2025, the governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev, proposed temporarily abandoning the tourist tax in Anapa and Temryuk District. Soon after, resort deputies suspended its collection for the entire year.
During a direct line on December 5, the regional head stated that the resort season in Anapa in 2026 should take place, and the tourist tax will be canceled next year as well. According to him, such a measure is necessary to support local business.
