T Plus subsidiary fined in Izhevsk for polluting Karlutka River

In Izhevsk, the Udmurt branch of T Plus PJSC has been held administratively liable for polluting the Karlutka River. This was reported by the press service of the republic«s prosecutor»s office.

According to the department, in July 2025, employees of the branch allowed the discharge of wastewater into the Karlutka River. As a result, the fertile soil layer on a land plot with a total area of 131.34 square meters was damaged.

An administrative offense case was initiated under Article 7.6 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses, «Unauthorized occupation of a water body or use of it in violation of established conditions,» and Part 2 of Article 8.7, «Failure to fulfill obligations for land reclamation, mandatory measures for land improvement and soil protection.»

As a result of considering the prosecutor«s response measures, the official who was found guilty in the incident was fined 60,000 rubles (approximately $600 at current rates).

Recall that T Plus PJSC is the largest private company in Russia operating in the electric power and heat supply sector.
