Ryazan Region Faces Snow and Ice Warning
Emergency services in Ryazan region have issued a weather warning for heavy snow, drifts, and icing, with conditions set to deteriorate on January 29.

On the night of January 29, heavy snow, snow drifts, and in some areas, icing are expected in Ryazan region. From morning until the end of the day, heavy precipitation (wet snow and freezing rain), icy conditions, and wet snow accumulation are anticipated. This was warned by the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM).
EMERCOM also reminded of safety rules during such weather — do not stand under advertising structures, house roofs, power lines, and trees, and limit time spent outdoors. In case of a power outage, do not use open flames for lighting.
