Yulia Snigir is a popular Russian actress who is a native of Tula Oblast. She was born in the city of Donskoy, loved chess as a child and suffered from bullying. Now, those who once bullied the future star clearly regret their past behavior. After all, their fellow countrywoman stars in the highest-grossing films.

Ahead of the upcoming premiere of the film “The Family Man”, in which Yulia Snigir played the lead role, she gave an interview to our colleagues from Marie Claire magazine, and the conversation was about fairy tales, miracles, and luck.

“Of course, as a child, you perceive it on a surface level—there«s a fool who got lucky. So, does that mean fools are lucky? But when I read the fairy tale ‘At the Pike»s Command’ to my son, I saw in it what many esoteric and psychology books talk about: formulate clearly what you want, but at the same time be wary of your wishes, because perhaps what you want is not what you need,” shared the actress.

About luck, Yulia said that she certainly considers herself a lucky person, but the main thing is not just to ask fate for something, but to notice its gifts so as not to overlook one«s happiness.

The Tula native also noted that she adores Bazhov»s fairy tales for their psychological depth and mystical atmosphere. And when it comes to mysticism, our heroine certainly knows her stuff, as it was Yulia who played the role of Margarita in the latest high-profile adaptation of Bulgakov«s novel “The Master and Margarita”.
