Three Classical Music Concerts to Attend in Krasnodar

From late January, the «All-Russian Philharmonic Seasons» will begin in Krasnodar. City residents will be able to see musical stars on the stage of the Municipal Concert Hall.
«All-Russian Philharmonic Seasons» is a cultural and educational project aimed at reviving active concert activity in various regions of Russia.
What concerts will take place in the near future?
Saturday, January 31, at 12:00 and 19:00 — «Romantic Quartet» (ages 6+ and 12+). Performances by one of Russia«s best chamber ensembles. The musicians will give two concerts — the first, for children, as part of Maria Lunyova»s authorial cycle «When Great Composers Were Little». The second, for adults, will feature classics from various eras, from Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich to rarely heard chamber works by Taneyev, Myaskovsky, and Weinberg.
Ticket prices — from 750 rubles (approximately $8 at current rates);
Sunday, February 8, 17:00 — solo concert by Alexei Melnikov (12+). In Krasnodar, a laureate of prestigious awards and an artist who has performed on the stages of the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Salle Cortot in Paris, and the Teatro La Fenice in Venice will take the stage.
Ticket prices — from 650 rubles (approximately $7 at current rates);
Sunday, March 1 — concert by pianist Petr Laul. The musician has performed on the world«s most prestigious stages: the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Lincoln Center in New York, and the Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
