Mother of Khaniya Farkhi dies in Bashkortostan
Faniya Azmukhametova, the mother of Honored Artist of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan Khaniya Farkhi, has passed away in Bashkortostan. Her death was announced by her younger daughter, Khaniya«s sister, Firуza Ibatullina.

Faniya Azmukhametova, a native and resident of Tatyshlinsky District, lived a long life — almost 96 years. During this time, she gave birth to and raised six children, and had 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. However, she had to endure several shocks — the deaths of four of her children, including her famous daughter Khaniya. Thirty-three years ago, as Firуza Ibatullina writes, their brother was killed in a knife fight.
In recent years, the woman lived in the village of Verkhniye Tatyshly with her younger daughter Firуza. In the summer, her health seriously deteriorated, and she was bedridden.
«Our grandmother lived a wonderful life and a wonderful old age. In the summer, she became bedridden… Although she could speak, recently she only recognized her closest people and often made mistakes. Aunt Firуza took very good care of grandmother. Despite numerous losses, grandmother lived a long life. She buried four of her six children,» Milausha Gilemkhanova, Faniya Azmukhametova«s niece, told Intertat.
«In your warm embrace we grew up tender and gentle, my dear mother, but only old age knocked on the door. If I had the strength, I would help you live forever, but it»s not possible…« writes Firуza Ibatullina on her social media.
The heart of a mother who has outlived her children is inconsolable. Fifty-six-year-old Nina Nikolayevna Rybalchenko from the city of Kamyshin in Volgograd Oblast has been searching alone for years for her only son, who disappeared without a trace under strange circumstances.
