Hearing-impaired boy from Chita fulfills dream singing with Gosha Kutsenko
Zakhar Ryumin from Chita, a student at the Open World Center for Hearing-Impaired Children, sang with actor Gosha Kutsenko in Moscow on January 21 during the Sixth Charity Festival «Your Talents Are So Needed by the Planet» (0+). Actress Yevgenia Korotkevich told this to a Chita.Ru correspondent on January 23.

«Zakhar dreamed of singing his song with Gosha. At the rehearsal, when Zakhar saw Gosha, he was so overwhelmed. He danced, almost cried, and was in such admiration. I sent Gosha videos of Zakhar rehearsing in Chita. Even then, Gosha said it was a miracle, that he had never seen anything like it, and that he wants to be friends with him and will help him,» Korotkevich said.

A total of 10 children came from Chita to the festival, including three girls from an orphanage in the village of Makkaveevo. They all performed in almost all numbers with artists such as Diana Gurtskaya, Yevgenia Korotkevich herself, Anatoly Rudenko, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Lukerya Ilyashenko, Sergey Chuikov, Gia Gagua, Anatoly Zhuravlyov, Yelena Borshcheva, Dmitry Khrustalyov, Sergey Kostochko, Viktor Ryabov, Polina Nechitaylo.
«There was also Veronika Rodionova — the very girl with whom it all began. In 2022, during the filming of the movie »Lake of Childhood« (6+) in Chita, I visited the center for hearing-impaired children. And I saw how the children sang with their hands. The next day, we shot a music video for my original song »Ticket«, where Veronika played the main role. This video has already gone around the world and won many awards. Veronika has already starred in many videos and in my songs. I gave her my songs, and she performs with them. At this festival, we announced her as the ambassador of our foundation and festivals; she is a unique person. She performed with many artists: with actress Lukerya Ilyashenko she recited poetry, and with me and Gosha Kutsenko, Veronika sang the song »Hope«,» the actress said.
Also, a boy named Matvey flew to Moscow; after the festival in Chita, his mother took him from the orphanage: «He sang a song about his great-grandfather. The entire hall applauded him. Matvey dreamed of meeting Dmitry Dyuzhev, and his dream came true.»

Yevgenia Korotkevich was born on July 9, 1990, in Mogilev. Her father, Sergey Korotkevich, served in Drovyanaya in Zabaykalsky Krai. In Chita, he met his future wife Galina, and they got married here. Korotkevich came to Chita in 2022 thanks to the Zabaykalsky Film Festival, planted a tree in the yard where her mother lived, and also held a clean-up day on the bank of the Chitinka River.
After the film festival, Yevgenia Korotkevich starred in the film «Lake of Childhood» (6+) in the Chita District together with Alexander Mikhailov and Dmitry Kharatyan. She gave an interview about the filming and her life to Chita.Ru.
Also, Korotkevich, together with Zabaykalsky poet Igor Borisevich, wrote a song called «Strength of the Family» in two languages — Russian and Belarusian. In 2024, she became a guest for the second time on the program «Songs from the Heart» (12+) on the channel «Russia 1», fulfilling her aunt«s dream from Chita.
