Fans mourn, bring gifts at Moscow farewell for blogger Irina Nebogaya
In Moscow, on November 20, at 10:00, the farewell for blogger Irina Nebogaya began. She died of Ewing«s sarcoma at the age of 21. Her family and numerous fans came to see her off on her final journey. They are bringing not only flowers but also soft toys to her coffin.
The mourning procession is taking place at Marshal Timoshenko Street, 25, near Krylatskoye metro station. The day before, a Telegram channel in Irina«s name invited all fans to come and say goodbye. Four hours were allocated for this.
«The room is small, so it will proceed in the format of “come in for a few minutes, say goodbye, leave your beautiful and large gifts, and leave”. Unfortunately, there are too many of you to accommodate everyone at once, so that»s how it is,» the message stated.
Now, subscribers are approaching the hall. Inside, a photo of the blogger, candles, and wreaths have already been placed. Irina is lying in a white coffin with a black veil decorated with a golden pattern. Next to her is a painting with the inscription “I can do anything”.
According to MSK1.RU correspondents, there are currently about 50 people in the hall. Everyone is silent, with only quiet sobs from relatives and fans heard.
Ira Nebogaya was born in 2004 in Novokuznetsk, where she lived until she was 17. She grew up in a family of a realtor and a miner. At 17, she was diagnosed with Ewing«s sarcoma. Treatment was promptly started. In total, she underwent 14 courses of chemotherapy and a complex operation on her thigh bone. Within a year, she was told that the cancer had receded, and the disease went into remission.
But the disease returned in 2024. An 8-centimeter tumor at stage 4 was found in the girl«s skull. As Irina Nebogaya herself recounted, the case was immediately called hopeless. But she did not believe it and began intensively undergoing another course of therapy. And again, luck — remission.
The cancer returned in the autumn of 2025. It turned out that metastases had appeared again. She did not survive the third bout with cancer. Irina died surrounded by family and friends. Her farewell message was published on her social media.
«I fought until the end, but yesterday, at 22:25, I passed away. I left very easily and calmly, surrounded by close and loved ones. I was not afraid, did not panic, you know me,» the message says. «I want to thank all of you for many things. For supporting me all these years, not letting me despair, writing nice comments, and of course for the financial support as well.»
