Teen who attacked fallen soldier's daughter placed on police register

In the Rostov region, a teenager who attacked a classmate — the daughter of a deceased participant in the special military operation — has been put on a preventive register with the police. An administrative protocol has been drawn up against his parents for improper fulfillment of their duties in raising and educating a minor.
The incident occurred on 22 January at School No. 1 in the stanitsa (village) of Olginskaya. The teenager lay in wait for the girl at the exit of the classroom and hit her head against a doorjamb, after which she lost consciousness. Other students recorded the incident on their mobile phones.
According to the victim«s mother, the conflict between the children arose after a discussion of her father»s death in the special military operation. The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case under the article «Hooliganism,» and the head of the agency, Alexander Bastrykin, has taken the case under his personal control.
The police reported: «Work with the participants of the conflict continues. Police officers are identifying and interviewing all participants of the incident, as well as possible witnesses. All circumstances and causes of the incident are being clarified.»
