Novosibirsk Beer Shop Raid Uncovers Illegal Gaming Machines

Two gaming terminals were installed in a Novosibirsk beer shop. The equipment was seized during a raid. This was reported by the prosecutor«s office of Novosibirsk Region.
Prosecutors and police officers conducted an inspection at a draft beer sales pavilion on Tolbukhin Street in the Dzerzhinsky District. Inside, two illegal gaming terminals were found installed.
The terminals were seized by employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) for Novosibirsk.
“A procedural check is being conducted, and the issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided,” the regional prosecutor«s office said.
The owner of the retail outlet may be charged with the illegal organization and conduct of gambling.
In October 2025, NGS reported that the court found five female residents of Novosibirsk guilty of organizing an underground casino.
