Last night in the capital«s Orekhovo-Borisovo district on Yeletskaya Street an explosion occurred: two traffic police officers died in the incident. Before their death, they noticed a suspicious man and were about to detain him. When they approached him, the explosive device went off.

According to the investigation, three people died on the spot, two police officers: 24-year-old Ilya Klimanov and 25-year-old Maxim Gorbunov, and the third, according to preliminary information, was 24-year-old Pavel Golubenko. He is suspected of organizing the explosion.

Golubenko was born in the settlement of Kamenska in Ivanovo Oblast. It is known that he completed 9 grades at a regular school, studied at an automotive transport college, and enrolled at Ivanovo State University. Then he got a job as a press operator at a factory.

«His parents are ordinary people. Besides Pasha, they raised his older sister and younger brother,» his classmate told the Daily Storm portal. «He was smart, interested in biology and geography, participated in regional olympiads, but left school after the 9th grade. That was in 2017. Later he said his interests changed, and he started getting into psychology, philosophy, and esotericism.»

Golubenko«s relatives told the Telegram channel Baza that they currently do not know where their son is. They also clarified that the young man was supposed to go to a hospital in Ivanovo several days ago because he had health issues. At the same time, relatives noted that Pavel was calm, quiet, helped around the house, and supported the family financially.

His social media profiles showed an enthusiasm for anime, technology, and rock music.

On social media, Golubenko indicated that he was interested in technology, electronics, and loved listening to rock music. He watched anime and actively reposted clips of Japanese cartoons on his page. He was also registered on a website for anime figure suppliers.

On one of his pages, the young man wrote that the main things he values in people are kindness and honesty.

Currently, law enforcement is checking his involvement in the bombing of Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov. As Baza specifies, at the explosion site, operatives found passport fragments — preliminarily, which belonged to Pavel himself.
